Wowzers....
Where does all the time go? I mean, seriously? Why does time fly so fast? I realized today that I am going to college next year. Yes. NEXT YEAR. So crazy! Sometimes I'm ober excited to get done with high-school and out of our small town. But other times, like now, I love high-school...despite how school can be frustrating often. I'm so excited about this year...Our home-school play about the Titanic, NCFCA forensics, this summer with camps and hopefully a weekend on the lake, having my friend from Joanna visit, going to Rebekah's graduation in California. But I'm excited for what next year will bring, too! Lately I've been learning to live in the present, not in the future or past. It's easy for me to think that when I go to college I'll be in the "real world" or when I'm a missionary I'll start living. But I'm living NOW! Enjoy life and peace out!

It really does! SO fast!
That almost makes me want to cry thinking of you going to college!! Not that I think you're a baby, but it's still crazy how fast time has flown.
I hope you enjoy this myriad of comments :D
Any tips on living in the present? That's something I struggle with for sure.
Good reminders to enjoy life NOW. It's easiest to do anything BUT that, especially if your current time isn't your hope or dream. But I think if I'm always hoping for something more, I'll never be content. Anywho, thanks for the inspiration!!
Time does fly! It seems like just yesterday I was starting NCFCA or that my little cousins were little. =)
Wow! You are graduating in 2013....wait!!! That means i'll be saying this same sort of thing next year! Holy Cow!
Liz-I know! I think that we should get everyone together to sign a peition to slow down time! Hm, tips. I think it all comes with enjoying life with God and enjoying the peace and joy that knowing him gives.
Emmy-It's so weird to think that we'll be 18 next year! How do you feel about that?
18... Wow. Half me is like NEATO! And the other half of me is going UGH!!
Guess I'll enjoy 16 and 17 first. =)
The last comment didn't include this....
lol
I almost feel as though time is going slow for me. I have a lot of goals in life that I get distracted with and want to skip forward to them.
You know what I mean?
I hope time goes by fast when I'm in a speech and debate tournament.
Emmy-I agree. part of me is really excited about college, but another part of me is scared that in a couple years we'll be old enough for college.
Simon-Yeah, I understand. I really want to be a missionary to India so sometimes I just wish that I could fast forward my life until then! But then I'd miss so much.
