Sometimes...life seems to decide
to go another way than what I
want. I can't explain why but I
find some thrill in how God lets
it happen to make my faith and
me stronger. We might not be able
to explain, understand, or like
terrible things that happen...
when our Grandpa dies,
our best friends wounds us
and leaves a scar we'll never
forget or when nothing in a day
seems to happen our way.
When life seems to decide that
it wants to take another turn than
what we truly want. We want
everything to be right, all to be
perfect, and well. But we all know
that's just not the way that it goes.
Let's just remind ourselves to
look at the big picture. Not
what we can see now but what
will matter in heaven, not here.
And that makes life just a little
easier.

Thank you for this post, Anna!! It's always nice to remember that this world is not our home... In church recently, we were talking about how we are sojourners here on earth... our purpose is to glorify God and to spread the gospel, not to make this earth our home. Instead, we are to store up treasures in heaven.
